Sodium butyrate is essential to regulation and control of energy and nutrition of intestinal mucous membrane, it can decompose the substance of energy source for epithelia of intestinal mucous membrane and activated lympghocyte, effectively promote the rapid growth and maturation of intestinal mucous membrane. Rehabilitate the damage of mucous membrane induced by ablactation, restrain the development of harmful florae, promote the reproducibility of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacterium and therefore decrease the possibility of diarrhea of baby pig after ablactation and promote the growth of ablactating baby pigs.
